Description

Cullen Grummitt & Roe has been working with ACT on a range of projects since 2005 including preparing the master plan for the development of the terminal, the design and site supervision for various container yards, yard expansion and specification of repairs to the existing wharf.

CGR was commissioned by ACT to progress with the development of an additional container terminal yard (Yard 8) which will be eRTG operated.

The development included:

• Excavation of an adjacent mountain face
• General earthworks and site re-levelling
• Construction on eRTG foundations in preparation doe the installation of a bus bar system and local sub-stations
• Heavy duty container yard pavements
• Lighting
• Services (drainage, electricity)
• Diversion and relaying of existing utilities

CGR assisted ACT with the tendering of these works.
