Description
Cullen Grummitt & Roe was comissioned to prepare a feasibility study into the practicality of transferring an existing mineral import facility for coal, coke, alumina and sulphur into a dual import / export facility to also allow the export of iron ore.
Cullen Grummitt & Roe visited the site and obtained all data necessary to investigate the feasibility of the proposal, which involved reversing the direction of one of the two conveyor systems, and providing a new iron ore unloader on the existing wharf. Train unloading and new stockpile areas were required for the iron ore mineral.
