Description
Laem Chabang Port released tenders for the privatisation of Terminal B5. The project involved the construction of a new container terminal with 400m of quay, 16 hectares of container stacking area, buildings and associated services.
Cullen Grummitt & Roe assisted our client in the feasibility study of the terminal development, leading to the successful winning tender by P&O Australia Ports Ltd. Our assistance included master planning of the site, preliminary design, costing of alternative wharf structures and overall development costs and staging.
Following award of the tender, CGR was commissioned to prepare the detailed design and documentation of all civil works and associated services.
During construction, Cullen Grummitt & Roe carried out site supervision and provided support to the Project Manager.
