Description
The scope of works for the project were:
- Circa 2,000 m3 of demolition
- Circa 50,000 m3 excavation
- Approximately 75,000 m2 of new heavy duty container yard pavement
- Surface drainage and services
- Installation of new light towers and electrical network
- Construction of electrical manholes for the connection of panel boxes for reefers
- Buildings and associated infrastructure
- Construction of a new power station
The works undertaken by CGR included:
- Project management
- Site supervision and inspections
- Contract administration
- Acting as Engineer under the Contract
- Head office support for the works
