Cullen Grummitt & Roe continues to work closely with Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT) on a 460m expansion of the existing wharf and the development of the associated RTG operated container yards.
ACT is the only sea port in Jordan and handles most of the country`s imports and exports. It is also strategically placed to provide a major gateway to other countries of the region.
We are happy to announce that as of 1 June 2011 BAM International Abu Dhabi LLC has been contracted to carry out the extension works. CGR has designed and is supervising the construction of the expansion. The project is expected to be completed in 2013.
